The motorcycle camshaft position sensor detects the rotational position of the camshaft and sends timing signals to the engine control unit (ECU). This information helps coordinate fuel injection and ignition timing to maintain stable engine operation. The sensor is commonly used in modern fuel-injected motorcycles and is often replaced during engine diagnostics or electronic system maintenance.
